Essentials for the Field (on the water) Survey Team

To facilitate safety and to make the survey most effective, the following equipment was utilized. The rationale for each piece of equipment is also included: Some equipment was improvised, for example, the grasping rake was made by welding two rake heads together back-to-back, weighted, and attached to a light nylon rope for retrieval. This took the place of an expensive commercial unit.
