SPOTLIGHT

REMINDER:  The Transfer Site will only be open on Wednesdays and Sundays beginning October 1st so THE TRANSFER SITE WILL BE CLOSED, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1ST.

Starting in October 2022 Senior meals at the Town Hall will only be available on Thursday due to lack of participation.

Visit www.myvote.wi.gov for all your 2022 voting needs. Request absentee ballots, register to vote, update name and address and much more. Forms also available at the Town Office. Absentee ballots will be mailed on Sept. 22nd, in-person voting begins October 25th.

The Town is selling two parcels off Lynx Rd - Tax ID 2587 (36.297 acres) and ID 2589 (17.52 acres) - minimum bid $1,000/acre.  Contact the Town Office for more information.

Docks in area lakes will be removed on October 15th by the Town Crew.  The DNR removes the one on the Middle.

CPR/AED/Basic First Aid-ASHI Continuing Education At the Town Hall

CATALOG #47531419 Forms available at the Town Office or on the communtiy events calendar Oct. 21 date.

This course is a combined CPR/AED/ Basic First Aid program designed specifically for laypeople. The program is good for the community and the workplace setting. This course is designed to teach people the knowledge and skills that they need to recognize emergencies and perform CPR and use an AED and perform First Aid until EMS arrives. This course will certify a person for 2 years in CPR/AED/Basic First Aid. 

The South Shore Bridge Project has been postponed to the Spring of 2023.   

BE AWARE!  A wolf pack has been seen in Tomahawk Lake Park so use caution when walking the trails.

SUMMER HOURS OF OPERATION AT THE TRANSFER SITE BEGAN APRIL 1ST. OPEN WEDNESDAYS, SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS, 8am-2pm. The Brush Pit is open the same days/hours.

PICKLEBALL IS ONGOING!  Come Mondays at 2:30pm at the Town Park tennis/pickleball courts
