Minutes of the Town of Barnes Planning Commission August 12, 2010 4:00PM Planning Commission members present: Dave Pease, Gene Ratzel, Mitch McGee, Diane Rupnow Members Absent: Dick Webb Alternate Absent: Duke Marten. Public Present: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dave Pease. Roll call to establish quorum. Motion (Ratzel/ McGee) to approve the agenda. Motion carried. Motion (Ratzel/ McGee) to dispense with the reading of the minutes from the last meeting and to approve the minutes. Motion carried. Public Comments: Zoning, Land Use Applications: 1- Class A Special Use Permit, Kathleen Nordin Monaghan for shoreline grading/ filling to correct erosion at 1720 Lower Lake Road. Motion (Ratzel/ McGee) to refer this request to the DNR. Discussion. This is an old boathouse where there has been erosion. It is at the ordinary high water mark and would include adding material into the lakebed which is clearly under DNR jurisdiction. It is beyond the scope of the Planning Commission. Motion carried.
