Special Town Board Meeting October 19, 2010
MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING Of October 19, 2010 Chair Lu Peet called the Special Town Board Meeting to order at 5:00PM. Roll call was taken and all were present. Clerk-Treasurer Brustad verified the meeting was posted as required. The agenda for the meeting is as follows: Agenda 1) Closed Session. The Town Board of the Town of Barnes will meet in regular session to go into a closed session pursuant to State Statute 19.85(c) “considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. The board will reconvene to the regular session immediately after the closed session. 2) Budget review for 2011 budget Motion (Meinke/Porter) to go into closed session pursuant to State Statute 19.85(c) “considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Roll call vote taken and all responded yes. Motion carried. The Board adjourned to closed session at 5:05PM. Motion (Webb/Porter) to return to open session. Motion carried. The board returned to open session at 5:50PM. There were no motions made in closed session and the board discussed only items pertaining to the statute listed. Budget items were discussed. The figures will be adjusted and a meeting will be held on October 21, 2010 at 5:00PM to review the budget then. Motion (Porter/Meinke) to adjourn the meeting of October 19, 2010. Motion carried.
