The Eau Claire Lakes Conservation Club has been active in Barnes and Gordon for 60 years. The organization is devoted to maintaining the area’s natural resources for all to enjoy. Each year the club initiates and participates in projects to preserve, protect and promote the land and waters of the Eau Claire Lakes area. Read the newsletters (link to right) to learn more about current projects.
Rent a pontoon trailer
The club has two pontoon trailers located at the Trading Post that can be rented for $35.00 for four hours (covers cost of parts and maintenance). They are rented on a first-come, first take basis. Prior to using the trailer, please pay the fee at the Barnes Trading Post on County Rd N, checks payable to ECL Conservation Club. And make sure the jack wheel is up after attaching the trailer to your vehicle. Contact Fred Kawell 715-379-1553 with any questions or problems.
Get Involved!
Read about all the projects the club is involved with in the links to the right. Maybe you have an interest in one and would like to help. It’s a great opportunity to support the lakes and meet new friends.
We hope to see YOU at the next meeting!
The club welcomes volunteers and other interested individuals. Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Barnes VFW Club at 7:00 p.m. (April – October).
