Minutes of the Town Hall Complex Committee
June 27, 2007
Clerk-Treasurer called the
meeting to order at 6:00PM. Present were Brustad, Lu Peet, Mike Bowes, Leslie
Hall, George Martin, Lanny Neider and Bob Oberstar. Brustad said to get the
committee going they needed to elect officers.
She said the Board had wanted a 7 member committee, and all others would
be alternates. Pam Toshner and Ron
Pearson were not in attendance, but wanted to be involved also. The Board member liason for the committee
will be Chris Webb.

Motion(Miek Bowes/Lu Peet) to
nominate Pam Toshner as the Secretary. Brustad asked for other nominations from the floor.
There were none. By show of hands all agreed. Motion carried.
Brustad asked for a general
discussion on the committee’s purpose. It was decided the first item was to
determine what the needs are for the community and the possible structure. We should ask groups who meet at the hall if
they have needs that the current structure is not giving them. Determine how to poll the people. They should look at community centers in the
area. The next meeting will be on August
22nd at 6:00PM. For that
meeting members should try to visit other facilities in the area. Elaine and Lu
should get together to determine office space needs. Members of the committee will be
