Closed Session:
The Town Board of the Town of
Brustad gave an update on
the progress with the assessment problem on David Hoberg’s property. Lynn Divine of the County gave specific
instructions for Mr. Hoberg to be able to combine his parcels and get the
correct assessment for what he has. He
will need to have a survey done to get the county maps changed, and he will be
doing that in the near future. Brustad
explained that when he gets that done it will still be the next year before the
change takes effect.
Collyard explained that the
person contracted for the janitorial position has decided not to continue
because she was paying too much for insurance.
He said he contacted the person with the next higher bid and he will be
doing the cleaning.
Collyard asked for a motion
to go into closed session as noticed. Motion
(Webb/Porter) to go into closed session per Statute 19.85(c) “considering
employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any
public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises
responsibility. Roll call vote taken, all responded yes. Motion carried.
The Board adjourned to the
closed session at
Motion (Porter/McGee) to adjourn the
closed session and return to open session. Motion carried. Discussion
was limited to the above referenced statute with no action taken.
There was no other business
to discuss, so Collyard asked for a motion to adjourn.
Motion (Porter/Meinke) to adjourn
the meeting. Motion carried. The
meeting adjourned at
