MINUTES OF THE

SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

Of June 19, 2008

Chairman Collyard called the Special Town Board Meeting to order at 7:00AM. Present were Board members Christine Webb, Jack Meinke, Mitch McGee, Donna Porter and Dick Collyard. Collyard read the agenda for this meeting:

Closed Session - The Town Board of the Town of Barnes will meet in regular session to go into a closed session pursuant to State Statute 19.85(a) “deliberating concerning a case which was the subject of any judicial or quasi-judicial trial or hearing before that governmental body.” The board will reconvene to the regular session immediately after the closed session.

Motion (Porter/Meinke) to go into closed session per the statute referenced above. Roll call vote taken: Porter-yes, Meinke-yes, Webb-yes, McGee-yes, Collyard-yes. Motion carried.

Motion (Webb/McGee) to adjourn the closed session and return to open session. Motion carried. The board adjourned to the Open session at 7:15AM. There were no decisions made in closed session and discussion was limited to the statute noticed above.

Motion (Webb/McGee) to accept Resolution Number R-08-02 regarding Gregg Friermood. Roll call vote taken: Webb-yes, McGee-yes, Porter-yes, Meinke-yes, Collyard-yes. Motion carried.

Motion(Webb/Meinke) to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:23AM.
