Chairman Collyard called the Special Town Board Meeting to order at . All Board Members were present. The Agenda for the meeting was as follows:

The Town Board will go into closed session pursuant to State Statute 19.85(c) for considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. The Board will then reconvene to the regular session following the closed session.
Motion(Webb/Porter) to move the Janitorial Bids up to position #1. Motion carried. There were two bids received. The Clerk opened the first bid from Michelle’s Cleaning Service. Bid is for $18.00 per hour to include labor, insurance and all cleaning supplies. The next bid opened was from Patti Jacob, for $13.75 including supplies. Motion (Porter/McGee) to accept Michelle’s bid because of past performance of the low bidder. Discussion followed. Collyard called for the question. Motion failed by vote of 5-0.
Motion (McGee/Webb) to accept the low bid of Patti Jacob with a 60 day probationary period and duties to be in writing with explicit instructions on what needs to be done. Motion carried.
The Board then went over remaining items in the budget for 2007.
Motion (Webb/Porter) to go into closed session pursuant to State Statute 19.85(c) for considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Roll call vote taken: Webb-yes, Collyard-yes, Meinke-yes, McGee-yes, Porter-yes, Motion carried.
Collyard called the closed session to order at . There were no motions made in closed session. Only those issues pertaining to State Statute 19.85 (c) were discussed. Motion (Porter/Webb) to adjourn the closed session and return to the open session. Motion carried.
