MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING OF AUGUST 17, 2005

Chairman Collyard called the Special Town Board Meeting to order at 6:03PM

Present were Board Members Jack Meinke, Dixie Chermack, Dick Collyard, Chris Webb and Donna Porter. The Clerk-Treasurer, Elaine Brustad was also present. There were no others present. Collyard said the meeting was for the Board to get started on looking at the Budget for 2006, and to set up the next few meetings. The Board set a tentative date of October 25^th for the Budget Hearing. Webb asked the Clerk to check on the deadline when the State needs the budget figures. She will also get figures on the insurance rates and especially the worker’s comp rates and increase, if any. The first budget meeting for the board members will be August 22^nd at 5:00PM. The second meeting will be set for August 30^th at 5:00 PM. The first meeting will also need to include 2 additional items on the agenda, the Wedging of the Lake Road Bridge approval and the Bow and Arrow targets that were requested by the Conservation Club. The Clerk and Board members went over some items in the revenue section of the budget.

Motion (Webb/Porter) to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 8:06 PM.
