MINUTES OF THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLANNING COMMITTEE

AND

LAND USE ELEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING

OF OCTOBER 26, 2005

 

Comprehensive Planning Committee present: Dave Scharlau, Leslie, Dave Pease, Lee Wiesner, Donna Porter, Marcia Wellnitz and Dixie Chermack.

Absent: Ron Pearson, Duke Marten and Don Zigman.

 

Land Use Element Committee present: Carol LeBreck, Gene Ratzel, Earl Gregoire, Sharon Moen and Mark Hazelbaker representing Plum Creek.

 

Also present: Patrick Beilfuss-Cedar Corporation, Tim Kane-UW-Extension Agent.

Audience: Steve Hunter, Jack Meinke, Chris Webb and Dick Collyard.

 

We continued to work on the land use map with the following decisions made in T45N R9W:

  1. Motion made by Marcia Wellnitz and seconded by Donna Porter to have Sec. 25 South 8 of the 40 acres to remain as Forestry. The last 1 ½ of the 40 acres (above the 8 acres) remains as Residential. Keep Concept 2 except the NE of the SW 40 acres to Forestry. Motion passed (5-1 with one abstaining vote).
  2. Motion by Leslie Hall and seconded by Lee Wiesner for Sec. 25 to keep Concept 1. Motion passed. (6-0 and 1 abstaining vote).
  3. Motion by Dixie Chermack and seconded by Donna Porter for Sec. 27 to keep Concept 2. Motion passed. (6-1).
  4. Motion by Dave Pease and seconded by Donna Porter for Sec. 27 to keep Concept 2 except for the 3 -40’s NW section to remain as Forestry. Motion passed. (6-0 and 1 abstaining vote).
  5. Motion by Lee Wiesner and seconded by Donna Porter for Sec. 29 to keep Concept 2 except for the top 4-40’s to remain Forestry. Motion passed (5-2).
  6. Motion by Leslie Hall and seconded by Donna Porter for Sec. 30 to keep as Concept 1 as Forestry. Motion passed. (7-0).
  7. Motion by Marcia Wellnitz and seconded by Dixie Chermack for Sec. 31 to keep Concept 1 and 2. Motion passed. (7-0).
  8. Motion by Donna Porter and seconded by Lee Wiesner for Sec. 32 to keep Concept 2. Motion passed. (7-0).
  9. Motion by Dixie Chermack and seconded by Leslie Hall for Sec. 33 to keep Concept 1. Motion passed. (6-1).
  10. Motion by Marcia Wellnitz and seconded by Lee Wiesner for Sec. 34 to keep Concept 1 except for the SW 1 2/3- 40’s to Residential (along East Robinson Lake Road). Motion passed. (6-1).
  11. Motion by Lee Wiesner and seconded by Marcia Wellnitz for Sec. 35 to keep Concept 1 except to change the small subdivision lots to Residential and the 2-40’s east of the Industrial Park to Residential. Motion passed. (7-0).
  12. Motion by Dixie Chermack and seconded by Dave Scharlau for Sec. 36 to keep as Concept 2. Motion passed. (5-2).

 

Patrick will blow up a map of T44 R9W for our next meeting on November 9, 2005 at 6:30PM.

 

Motion by Marcia Wellnitz and seconded by Dave Scharlau to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. The meeting was adjourned at 9:10PM.
