MINUTES OF THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING

OF MARCH 9, 2005

Present: Marcia Wellnitz, Ron Pearson, Duke Marten, Dave Pease, Dave Scharlau, Leslie Hall, Donna Porter and Dixie Chermack.

Absent: Lee Wiesner and Don Zigman

Also present: Patrick Beilfuss-Cedar Corporation; Tim Kane-UW Extension Agent and Gene Ratzel- Barnes Town Chairman

The February minutes were approved. Motion by Ron Pearson, seconded by Marcia Wellnitz. Motion passed.

We broke up into three groups to identify Barnes’ existing land use. Those to identify were: parks, boat

landings, commercial usage, state owned land and town owned land.

Patrick will update the existing land use map and send the committee the revised map.

Thanks to Marcia for the treats. The next meeting will be Wednesday April 13, 2005. Our homework will be to designate where our future resident and commercial areas will be.

Motion by Dave Scharlau, seconded by Marcia Wellnitz to adjourn at 8:20PM. Motion carried.
